Here are some links that could be of some help to families when trying to find support. I will be updating it as I receive new resources. If there are certain topics that you are interested in finding out more about, please feel free to fill out a request at the bottom of this page.
Suicide Prevention
- "A Friend Asks" App
- Empact Suicide Prevention Center- Self Harm, bullying and suicide, survivors of suicide grief, signs and symptoms of depression.
- National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Family Support Groups
- Billy's Place is a non-profit organization that provides free grieving services to children age 3-30 and their immediate family members. Their resources tab will also provide websites, articles and age-appropriate books to help with the grieving process.
- Stopbullying.gov is a website to help promote bullying awareness and how to identify if your child is being bullied.

McKinney- Vento
If you and your family have lost your housing due to an economic hardship, your school-aged child may qualify for certain rights and protections under the federal McKinney-Vento Act. Please click on the link below for more information and contact me, your local liaison.

Referral Services
If your family is going through some hardships and needs help connecting to resources related to housing/shelter, employment, health/dental, or disability related services, to name a few, 211arizona.org is an information and referral website that links individuals and families to community services throughout Arizona.
